Tailgates as BWA. I love the competition and wish our bar would
play as a team sometimes. We have lots of good players.

time, huh? See ya Tuesday on line. Druid Kryton Signed the guestbook on Jan 20, 1999 at 12:25. Hey, good site. Nice to see the rankings over
the last few months. Just a note, notice we have been playing out
of Inglewood for last few months. However, we are actually using
the Crown and Anchor as our home bar and will be (probibly)
moving to that site for the Canadian Showdown Championship in
Feb. (not yet confonfirmed) You should actually add Inglewood
from Jan to Feb and than merge with Crown and Anchor until end of
Showdown Championships. This year we have been notified that
there is a Canadian Championship with a $10,000 first prize to
top Canadian location!! Should buy a few wings and beer. Best of
luck to you this year.(although luck has nothing to do with it.)

Ewan Signed the guestbook on Jan 26, 1999 at 13:34. Hey; How are you guys? In the upcoming Showdown
tournament we are being offered $10,000 for a first place finish
in Canada. We have ranked quite well in the past so we have our
fingers crossed. I would like to know what you are being offered
down there in the good old U.S.A. I would also like to express
our excitement over the re-arrival of the Match game. We did
quite well last year but I am afraid it was for naught. Did you
know our team consists of Barbara Ann Eddy, the five time
Jeopardy champion, she plays under the handle " Hamlet
". We have a relatively small team compared to yours, only
7. I play under the handle " Snuker ", I am looking
forward to see how you do tonight, good luck! P.S. I have been
looking for online trivia, chatlines or otherwise, any
suggestions? Regards, Don. Scmboy Signed the guestbook on Feb 1, 1999 at 14:01. Whassup in Cali? Jim

See ya on the board. Chevy Signed the guestbook on Feb 15, 1999 at 23:20. http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Styx/5027/ChevyLinda.html What a great website! You're right about
Rocksport in Seattle - I used to play with Steve Hafner (PICKARD)
and the gang as RIKER at the Sea-Tac Red Lion. Also played with
other great teams such as Cheers West in Tacoma, WA (XLII), Casa
Gallardo in Orlando, FL (MENSA - but I'm no longer a member), and
NickelodeinN (NYCHEV) - ha! - you're lucky that I'm no longer
with them! It's fun to play on a good team, but I also enjoy
playing solo, especially walking into a new place and whipping
the locals! Our ST:TNG team in Seattle - just the four of us with
one box for Showdown - was the best I ever played with. Not
because we were better than the best four at National, but
because we had such good chemistry. So look for me as HUMNST and
I'll visit when I can. Cheers! C> Shannon Signed the guestbook on Feb 16, 1999 at 23:28.

Ricca Signed the guestbook on Feb 20, 1999 at 13:48. http://damonskzoo.com (under constuction) Hello- My name is Derrick, and I am the man
behind the trivia machine at the infamous Damon's Clubhouse in
Kalamazoo, MI. My trivia scores will never be seen on national
rankings, for unfortunatly, I am not very trivial. However, at
Damon's Kzoo we feel we have assembled one of the best overall
locations for NTN trivia in the nation. I would like to give the
National its due for being the Showdown Studs of the Universe.
Give us a cheer when you see us on the national rankings, and we
will do the same for you. -Master of Ceremonies DAR K.C.
"Kevin" Currie Signed the guestbook on Mar 8, 1999 at 01:09. Hey, guys!!! Even without computers your team
would be formidable! Now that I have visited NWC 4 or 5 times,
I'd like to again thank you folks, especially the Ringmaster, Don
R. Denton, for the hospitality you have shown an interloping
button-pusher like me when I have played alongside you. NWC is
the penultimate NTN location. We should all be taken care of so
nicely. What do I like most about visiting NWC? Where else could
I score 60,000 at Showdown and finish in 32nd place -- not in the
nation -- in the house?!?!?! KEN

a.k.a. "Mezzz" Signed the guestbook on Mar 17, 1999 at 16:58. Dear folks at Nat West: I have nothing but respect for your team- you are showing the rest of us how to set the standard of consistently high scores. I am particularly glad that during the past couple of years, you have put NYDavy and the other ego maniacs in NY in their place on Tues. nights. Davy's bragging on Badbart has diminished since Nat West began to regularly clobber Nickelodeinn on Showdown. Some of you may remember the NY "DAISY" song that I posted on Bad Bart to honor your first Showdown championship two summers ago. The Vegas folks loved it, anyway... We at Stetson Paradise are among the guinea pigs for the new and "improved" (SIC) 900 mhz NTN system. I advise all of you out there to check this new stuff out asap. In my opinion, NTN is going way overboard with advertising on the new system at the expense of games for us lowly players. Perhaps some feedback from you out there might help to change things. I have seen the future of NTN, and I am worried... Regards to National's elite team, "MEZZZ"

tried to get through to Brian Sarver and may yet but in the
eventually that I don't, I hope you might help. The 5/2/99 Trivia
Pursuit results failed to have our score and place recorded from
Famous Sam's 29 in Scottsdale. Needless to say we are heartly
distressed to see our standing suffer as a conse- quence. I have
been trying and waiting for over a week since I saw the omission
to rectify the error and get the exact score. We finished a score
of over 54000 which was good for a first. I'm hoping if I don't
get to Brian that you might intervene in our behalf and amend the
standings. Thanks for your time and your consideration. Eddy

ANN NON A MOSS Signed the guestbook on Jul 27, 1999 at 22:33. This is all in fun. If you notice that East
Side Mario's in Henderson NV get great scores (maybe even
perfect) in Brainbuster it is because that are getting the
answers by telephone from an eastern location where Brainbuster
is shown one hour earlier. Eddy De Cock Signed the guestbook on Aug 3, 1999 at 11:22. Hi Don, I've contacted you before about a
difficulty in having our score recorded,it's happened again. The
game of 27 July we finished 12th with a score of 54200+. I
checked the NTN results the following day and didn't see our
placement. I saw Jarrod (PRI) the next day, told him about it and
asked him if he could put it over Bad Bart to rectify the
omission. Either he didn't get to it or it didn't get to you. Now
that TPL is over we have to try to make our mark on Showdown;
would you please help to get our score adjusted? Jarrod told us
of your gracious gesture in recognizing our location as the TPL
champs, THANKS! However, your results could lay claim to the
distinction as well. Also congratulations on the Glory Dayz
tournament, we tried desperately to beat you with some of the
people from Famous Sams 31 assisting us. Long live Trivia and to
an improving NTN, Eddy Ben Signed the guestbook on Aug 8, 1999 at 11:22. It's nice to see who the faces behind the

(Wally) Jones Signed the guestbook on Sep 20, 1999 at 12:35. I visited The National, at West Covina, about a
month ago, because I just had to see the place that was always #1
on NTN. I hoped to find the National's web site to commend the
manager who was on duty that day. His name was Mickey Thornton.
We (another engineer and myself) are here in CA to install a
communications system, at the Palmdale air traffic control
center. When we explained why we were there, Mickey gave us a red
carpet tour of the facility. It was truly refreshing to find a
person so proud of their workplace. We enjoyed the tour and will
continue to visit The National, during our stay in CA. I hope
this webpage is the correct place to leave this note. Thank you,

ususally play from 9pm to close. Easier to get top scores that
way :-) I guess to do well as a location, you have to share
answers. Personally, I'd like to see anyone on a 'team' play with
just one box. At the Rocksport, we usually play like a high
school track team. We encourage each other and want the bar to do
well nationally, but it comes down to individual performances. I
feel a bar that does well as individuals is more impressive than
everyone sharing answers. But then, that's just me. Of course,
the main objective is to HAVE FUN! Hope to play down in your neck
of the woods someday! Stephen

McDiarmid Signed the guestbook on Dec 1, 1999 at 01:34. My God, and I thought we took the game
(Showdown) seriously! Our group of four does try to showup on
Tuesday. Having never reached even the first page in years of
playing , we console ourselves by spinning conspiracy theories
concerning West Covina and my particular favourite,
"Nickelodin". I can't wait to tell the assemblage about
your site. It will help fuel the flames of excellence and the
eventual overthrow of the ubiquitous West Covina. P.S. I hate the
english lit questions. Suzi Signed the guestbook on Dec 4, 1999 at 01:03. I have been playing over 4 years and especially
every Tuesday...Showdown. We have a little tournament at Gators.
First place wins 20 gator bucks, second wins 15 and third place
10 gator bucks. The first person who gets the final answer right
wins a free appetizer. One on our good players is DRKRUM who
moved actually a few months ago to Jacksonville but still keeps
in touch. Actually DRKRUM is two people playing together on one
board and they are both very good. We have some dedicated players
at Gators. It is a lot of fun (especially on Tuesdays). I don;t
know much about sports but there are a few guys who really like
QB1. mike simpson Signed the guestbook on Dec 19, 1999 at 19:01. very good website; you will never see MORONS on

lot of fun; SPIKE |
