Haduch Signed the guestbook on Jan 14, 1998 at 21:13. I was recruited to play at Fast Eddie's by Bill
Gardner (ttlpkg et al.)and joined them there the first time they
played as a team. I'm Helfis and since I have only been playing
anywhere for a few months, I'm not that fast on the button. My
goal is to be #1 on the team on a showdown--which with the guys
I'm playing with is some goal. Hope to get to California again (
I moved back here from Sherman Oaks after I was red-tagged in
'94) and see HOW you play with them 'puters. Logan Signed the guestbook on Feb 13, 1998 at 00:35. I play as OSIRIS. Logan Murley Signed the guestbook on Feb 14, 1998 at 21:20. http://members.tripod.com/~thoth//index.html

victory last night. You folks are fantastic. Misha Edward
Stroligo Signed the guestbook on Feb 23, 1998 at 07:08. You left just one thing out of your
"unbiased" rankings; any reference to you being the
only "top" team to use computers to play Showdown.
Wonder why? Your computationally-biased ranking bigot, Ed SKYE Signed the guestbook on Mar 13, 1998 at 18:06.
ZAQPAQ@Hurricane1 Signed the guestbook on Mar 17, 1998 at 04:23. Greetings out there, fellow players...finally
found the W. Covina site on my own, after TOPGUN kept forgetting
to bounce me the address for it, or the mailing list! *waves* go
out to the rest of the ZACPAC, HQ'd at Puzzles in Ottawa,
Ontario, when I visited there a few years back (and who so
graciously made me one of them for my current handle, much better
than my original ZOTCSS), to all the guys and gals at Beale St.
in SF, who asked me where my spaceship was parked, and was I
moving to the area anytime soon. :) and to the gang down at BW-3s
in Bloomington, IN, who I helped to get working at a team for a
night, succeeding in climbing onto the national board. And of
course, large *waves* to those of you reading this, and everyone
up at all the Nationals! Now, to go work on a few pages of my
OWN! Eddy De Cock Signed the guestbook on Mar 18, 1998 at 13:35. Thanks for keeping track. We are trying to
catch up to Sam'a town by the end of the year and the stats
provided here are very helpful. If any of your players get stuck
here in the Phoenix area some Tues. let them know we would
welcome their assistance at the Showdown game. We wish continued
success and if ever I get the chance I'd like to drop in. Lee Clapp Signed the guestbook on Mar 18, 1998 at 13:41. Will stop in the next time I visit AEROJET in
Azusa. Probably will be in May. Great sight!! Rob Lake

played NTN at SLIDERS over 4 years ago and met HUNTER. I also
recall talking to BEAR over the phone. I haven't been in the area
since, but if I am ever in Southern California again, I will be
sure to look you up. Keep up the good work! Steven Watanabe Signed the guestbook on Mar 22, 1998 at 01:27. You guys have an outstanding website! I have
been playing NTN since June of 1987. Most often, you can see me
as "SEKA" in various locations throughout the
Sacramento, CA area. JERAD PINO Signed the guestbook on Mar 24, 1998 at 21:36. AM I IN THE HALL OF FAME IN KID SPORTS TRIVIA Benhur Signed the guestbook on Mar 28, 1998 at 12:59. Used to play at Nick's in Astoria! You guys

feed the addiction Bob Blake Signed the guestbook on Apr 15, 1998 at 15:36. I wish my usual bars' would do something like
this. Someday I will get out to visit y'all, and see how you do
Showdown so well. I understand that computers are involved in
your success. I've read Ed Strolio's comments, and heard others
complain about your methods, but I'd just like to see how it's
done! I wouldn't get many points if I had to wait on my web
browser to come up with an answer! Carol Philo Signed the guestbook on May 2, 1998 at 10:44. I've heard so much about you and your site, I
thought I'd stop by. Nice Webpage. Organized, lucid and the
information is easily accessable. James
Brault Signed the guestbook on May 3, 1998 at 20:52. My God. Somebody at your location spends more
time thinking about NTN than I ever imagined possible. Very
informative site going into the Showdown playoffs! Good Luck! Cal Zacharias Signed the guestbook on May 7, 1998 at 01:09. This is a great site. Now that I have found it,
will use it to keep track of who is doing what. Greetings to
ZAQPAQ in Windsor. I read your comments, and it was nice to see
you named yourself after the original ZACPAC team at Puzzles. I
am the original ZACPAC after whom that team was named and I am
still using that handle. Congrats to the keepers of this site.
Keep it up. Peter Bauer

Carter Signed the guestbook on Aug 23, 1998 at 06:56. Just sayin' thanx to Jason and Don for their
help in scoping out the new 900 mhz system. I have forwarded it
to some other NTN addicts in my area. Congratulations to your
team for the excellent play. If any members of your team are ever
in Florida, give us a shout via e-mail, and we'll roll out a
seven-course Florida Cracker dinner... (A Possum and a
six-pack)... and play some triv. Also... great Web Page.... Y'all
done good! Gonzo a.k.a. Aggiedaddy on AOL Rich Heller Signed the guestbook on Aug 23, 1998 at 18:53. Greetings! I enjoy playing with all of you at

(AKA) El Cid Signed the guestbook on Oct 3, 1998 at 00:06. Sometimes I get frustrated by your team
results, used to play regularly at the Stick n Srein( El Segundo)
and Yankee Doodles - (Long Beach) 93-95 and Baltimore 96-98 .
Currently doing hard time(3 years) in Hawaii, believe me it;s no
brain trust out here I could never muster up a good team with so
many diversions. Never made it out to your location though. Look
for me hovering around 13k points late night out of Hawaii under
the names El Cid and Druid. Love to see the way you dominate
Canada's best, I hate to see them emerge as the intellects of
North America God help us if next years champs are from Yellow
Knife, Medicine Bow or the Northwest Teritorties Ken Grier Signed the guestbook on Oct 10, 1998 at 12:29. I started playing NTN on the WEB about a year
ago. Have achieved 15K scores there and can get into the 14K's
almost daily. Started playing the bar scene regularly in July
1998. Especially like Showdown (34,000+ on 10/6/98) and Trivial
Pursuit Live (34,000+ on 10/7/98). Even though you feel it's
"futile" I prefer to play using my own knowledge base
and collective unconscience. I work as an electronics engineer in
the Sensors Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory here
at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH (home of the Air Force
Museum). Will have been here for 20 years May 15, 1999. I was
born and raised in the state of Delaware, having grown up in
Smyrna and graduating with a BEE from the University of Delaware
in Newark, DE in 1979. I travel more frequently in my job now and
like to play NTN around the country. Since April I have played in
Napa, CA; Fenwick, DE; Ocean City, MD; and most recently in Santa
Fe, NM where I achieved my first "big board" score (#18
on Abused News on Sep 30,1998) Am looking forward to my first 15K
game on that same "big board". Until then happy gaming
to all!!!!! Ken Ken Grier

QBAR Signed the guestbook on Oct 22, 1998 at 23:53. TO HAVE YOUR OWN NET PAGE, I SUPPOSE YOU GUYS
TAKE THIS RATHER SERIOUSLY, HUH? OR ELSE YOU SPEND ALL DAY &
NIGHT, BEING BARFLIES WITH NOTHING BETTER TO DO, OR BOTH. ARE THE
RUMOURS TRUE THAT YOU PEOPLE, HAVE MEETINGS, GET YOUR PICTURE
TAKEN LIKE SOME KIND OF PERSONALITIES, HAVE JAM SESSIONS, STUDY
YOUR TRIVIA, AND GENERALLY ACT LIKE YOU'RE SOMETHING SPECIAL OR
SOMPIN, HUH? WE SC "BUTTCRACKS" WOULD TAKE YOU ON, YOU
KNOW, IF ONLY THE UPCOMING SESSIONS WERE NOT GIVEN ADVANCED
NOTICE SO THAT SOME (PEOPLE) DIDN'T HAVE AMPLE TIME TO brush-up
BEFOREHAND. ANYWAY....GOODLUCK, OR USE YOUR STUDYTIME WISELY.
QBAR Craig Signed the guestbook on Oct 24, 1998 at 08:58. Enjoyed your site a lot - very nicely done.
Congrats to you all for your consistently high play. Maybe one of
these days I could visit your bar. It's in Calif., no? I stuggle
along here in Toronto as AZED with some very fine and very fun
players at the weirdly name "Spotted Dick" (it's a
British term for a kind of dessert, not the outcome of a
transmitted disease) Cheers! Billy

(Gerry) Dobson Signed the guestbook on Nov 2, 1998 at 18:54. Hi: If you have received several such messages,
it is because the old ones disappeared without my meaning them
to; I don't know what the hell happened to them. This is a great
site and I appreciate it! Will print a lot and let the other
players at Hoffbrau know about it. My braggadocious remark was to
note that we are strengthening- so much so that we no longer give
much of a damn about beating NickelodeInn, and to note that in
our various incarnations, Rusty Pelican-Dallas, HI-DFW and
Hoffbrau, we have won at least one game of Showdown in each of
the last 10 years. Don Denton's report on the stockholder's
meeting was great! Best wishes and luck (although you don't seem
to need the latter) to you all. Come see us sometime on Tuesday,
hear? Wyvern (and Cloaca, my other nom de plume) Kimberle
Astle/Kimbo Signed the guestbook on Nov 9, 1998 at 13:08. Hi All!! Enjoy playing on the computer. You all
must be doing well if you have your own web page. Good Luck To

Preston Signed the guestbook on Nov 11, 1998 at 09:16. Your team is awesome! Wish we could develop a
way to have individual challenges, one on one, between individual
bars across country. Jack's Tavern would be willing to challenge
West Covina on any individual game other than Showdown. For
instance Wednesday Trivia. That would generate more bar business
and have people show up on off-nights rather than just Tuesdays.
Like to hear from you guys. Mary John
Bychowski Signed the guestbook on Nov 14, 1998 at 20:06. Greetings to all at NWC and congratulations on
having won Showdown again! Nice work at Spotlight too; but I
think next time around, you will have some VERY HEAVY competition
(as shown by the results of Spotlight 23-10-98...970 pts. you got
us by!). I have been keeping tabs since 18-9-98. Once again,
congrats! I AM BACK...AND WITH A VENGEANCE! Or at least a roaring
second wind... Cheers, John Bychowski HAPPY--Mulligans/Humble,TX
