Holmes Signed the guestbook on Apr 14, 1997 at 16:57. Even though Retro is advertised at being on at
10 p.m. Sat. night, BW3 in Lincoln has a Nightside game. It's bad
enough to play that dumb game at 7:00 in the evening, when the
kids are still around, but they to play it again at 10:00? I love
RETRO. It is my favorite game. I am about to get 250,000 Player+
Points. Can't wait to see my cross turn to red. (Right now I have
240,000.) I am really hooked on this game. I could play it all
day every day. Unfortunately, I have to work, etc. SLUG Signed the guestbook on Apr 21, 1997 at 10:51. http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Park/2212/ntn.html Hmm.. I suppose I could sign this like I've
seen guestbook signings in the past: "Hi.. Great Page.. Keep
up the good work!" I find empty guestbook signings like that
fairly boring so I won't do that. What's even worse is when they
don't leave a comment at all. So.. what do y'all think are the
chances of NTN surviving until the end of the year? Great
webpage, Don! Keep up the good work! - SLUG Joel Suzuki Signed the guestbook on Apr 21, 1997 at 15:02.
had to do it...in a few weeks i hope to give
your team any iota of help i can (not that your team needs very
much if any at all)...but i have to admit that West Covina will
be the 3rd National i've visited (following Buena Park in May
1994 and Torrance in May 1996 [yes, i did meet and play with
CORVUS at Torrance; hope to do so again this coming trip]...time
and energy permitting i may visit one or more of the rest... one
of these days in the future i and the others at Canyon View hope
to reciprocate what i am sure will be one of the most hospitable
and rewarding visits i will have...good luck and good scores
until then... Michael

My handle is COOGS. Where is West Covina in
relation to Claremont? I was out there last week and the only
trivia bar we could find without looking it up on the internet
was Sliders. We got there Sunday afternoon and took the bar up to
number 2. My left hand was playing under OBERON.

(aka Dan) Signed the guestbook on May 1, 1997 at 20:17. Just thought I'd drop a note and say hi after
checking out your Web Page, and generally being beat regularly by
most of you (thought not by much usually). I prefer playing at
Nationals since there isn't really any competition at Fridays.
I'm also glad to see that the gane has really taken off since I
first saw it at Harry O'Shortals in '91. Good luck on the
competition. Skull Edward

Booker Signed the guestbook on May 14, 1997 at 15:06. Very nicely done web page. It has been decided
by the NTN players at Rugby's that National, West Covina is the
spot to visit when in Southern CA (it definitely has the best
players). And it just so happens I will be in the area in August
and I would love to stop by and play NTN some Friday night. Hope
to see you all soon. Pete Marilyn
Rose Signed the guestbook on May 19, 1997 at 01:07. Been playing for about 2.5 years - am the
resident Queen of Trivia at home. Years of trash novels pay off
big time! I just love showing the recent college graduates that
motherhood and too much television can actually improve your
mind. I was most flattered recently when someone accused me of
being a college professor "slumming!" It is much easier
to play when all you drink is iced tea.... Mike Shearer Signed the guestbook on May 22, 1997 at 00:01. Enjoyed the page. Scot Williams Signed the guestbook on May 26, 1997 at 03:15. My ntn handle is Yaleli Wil

Bollman Signed the guestbook on Jul 17, 1997 at 00:30. I'm Mark Bollman, playing NTN solo as
"Arrow" and as part of the team of "Graple"
(with silent partner Laura Zimmerman, who has refused to even
touch a playmaker in 2.5 years but does contribute answers) at
Damon's #5 in Kalamazoo, MI. The Kalamazoo NTN situation was
wrenched slightly when Carlos Murphy's #11 closed recently and
left a lot of K'zoo NTN fans homeless. Damon's has been kind to
us in our search for a permanent home; it was an honor to be
beaten by you guys in the first round of the Showdown
International finals. Best of luck against Nickelodeinn! John Borreson

messed because it said that our team was 9th and our team score
was a pathetic 30000 or somewhere around there. So i could tell
that the scores were not correct. Anyways good job. Dup Signed the guestbook on Jul 23, 1997 at 16:47. Congratulations on a great win last night. You

a.k.a. NVOGUE Signed the guestbook on Aug 18, 1997 at 14:23. You have me listed as ENVOGU still at the
Houndstooth in Tuscaloosa, AL. That is where I learned to play. I
am now at Fridays, under NVOGUE, with over 2.6 million points
(the highest in the city - if I'm not mistaken). I was dismayed
to not even see our bar on your list. Other seriou players there
are SPARKY, JAMAN, DOG LB, JNJM, and many others. I will gladly
pass this site on to them if you would include us on your
fantastic list. BTW - this is a great idea! I hope it all comes
together for you! Scotch
Peloso Signed the guestbook on Aug 21, 1997 at 16:40. Very nice site. Will try to remember alternate
questions for the category round. We used almost all the
alternates, and one particular question about the civil war was,
I am told, wrong. See ya, Scotch Cruzr Signed the guestbook on Aug 23, 1997 at 13:31. nothing to say Bob
Gardner Signed the guestbook on Aug 27, 1997 at 13:58. Saw the reference to y'alls' page on "Bad
Bart", so I thought I'd stop in. I play in the "singles
division"...one player, one box, so I don't bother playing
the prime time games. One day they'll figure out how to hold a
singles tournament, and I'll be in like Flynn! :{> Later...Bob
G...aka "Da Wiz" NOMAD Signed the guestbook on Sep 4, 1997 at 21:59. We really enjoy the sight. It has been helpful
especially when we have trouble retrieving the final scores. NTN
is not always the best and at times we have had to call across
town to BW-3 to find out how we did. Keep up the good work. John
Bychowski Signed the guestbook on Sep 17, 1997 at 18:57. Hi. I play under the handle HAPPY. Just like to
say cool site. I'm in the process of starting up one for
Mulligan's. Anyway, I'm sure some of you see us make a lot of
#1's or top 20 ranks...except maybe on Tuesdays; and you guys
rock at SHOWDOWN. By the way, congrats at winning the SHOWDOWN
tournament. We at Mulligan's used to post scores in SHOWDOWN, but
a lot of our old players decided to bail out on us. Hopefully,
one day we'll be able to return to the ranks. Maybe the next time
I'm in AZ, I'll come out to your place... Play hard! HAPPY P.S.
CAJUN didn't win the million--nor did anybody else. (He came
closer than anyone else, though. I told TANKED about this through
AOL) P.S.S. From what I know, much of HINASA's team splintered
apart and went elsewhere. Nancy
Schulze Signed the guestbook on Sep 20, 1997 at 01:15. I've had the pleasure of chatting with Jim
(Tanked1) while playing Countdown on AOL. He's an excellent
player, always finishing in the top five, usually No. 1. Jim told
me about your website and I'm glad he did. You have a great team
and should be very proud of your wins. If my travels ever take me
to West Covina, I'll be sure to stop in and play a game with you
even though I'm sure I'm not in your league. My best to all the
team members and continued good success to all. Nancy toby randolph Signed the guestbook on Sep 24, 1997 at 00:11. good to see your site here,i worked for ntn in

compitition, let me know if i can be of assistance. Scott
Chappelear (aka DLBERT) Signed the guestbook on Oct 23, 1997 at 18:54. Nice page! I was instructed on the ways on NTN
by the NTN queen of Birmingham, AL, NVOGUE, and have since moved
to New Jersey to be with my fiancee and teach her in the ways of
trivia. She plays under MOOCOW and just passed 750,000. I'm
sitting at about 1.25 mil. We unfortunately don't have a regular
team, as the place we play doesn't do a good job of taking care
of its boxes, but my fiancee and I play most Tuesdays and
Fridays, and we are often joined by DAVID and BECKY (who's over 4
mil, BTW). However, Becky has been recovering from illness
recently, so the only other regular couple hasn't been regular
lately. We try hard, though, and] do pretty darn well considering
we don't have 15 or 20 people playing with us. Thanks for the
vast array of NTN info, and I'll be back again!

have 500,000 points and have been playing for 3 years. I'm only
18 and hope that NTN never goes out of business because I hope to
be playing and get millions of points. I love the site and enjoy
seeing National Sports Grill representing CA and the US across
Canada and the US. Kidheart Signed the guestbook on Nov 11, 1997 at 14:39. Played with you guys once, with my buddy

Webster Signed the guestbook on Nov 11, 1997 at 17:31. You guys seems to have the right idea. We can
usually get a few people to group up, but sometimes they keep
their mouth shut if they are not the #1 person on the board. It
makes it frustrating to give them correct answers when they don't
know and receiving nothing in return. Fish Signed the guestbook on Nov 15, 1997 at 06:46. I assume you got our FAX tonight. You did very
well in Spotlight. You may have noticed us, we (Spoons) put up an
11th place in a following game, and Fish took sixth on an
individual score in the Celeb Bios. Of course we were just
fooling around and wouldn't want you to have a sleepless night
worrying about us.... More later, be prepared!! Bye Fish Mike Gerrity
