These are all official languages of Singapore except JAVANESE . 3. The nation's capital city of Singapore is situated on the banks of the SINGAPORE River. 4. Plan on leaving this common snack at home if you are visiting Singapore. CHEWING GUM 5. Singapore has one of the highest LIVING STANDARDS in Asia. 6. Singapore is noted for hawker stalls from which you might buy these stuffed noodles. CHEE CHONG FUN 2. The "Esplanade," a highly touted project that opened in October, 2002 is a THEATER COMPLEX . 3.
