3 Established in 1885, BANFF was Canada's first national park.

4. Alberta's provincial flower is the WILD ROSE .

5. In 1988, this Alberta city hosted the first Winter Olympic Games
held in Canada. CALGARY

6. The warm westerly CHINOOK winds lessen the severity of winter in
Alberta.

1. Alberta is known all over the world for its superb BEEF .

2. Visitors flock to Alberta each July for the famous CALGARY
STAMPEDE held in Calgary.

3. This Oscar-winning 2005 movie was shot in Alberta. BROKEBACK

4. The Athabasca and the PEACE RIVER are the two longest rivers in
Alberta.

5. Edmonton is home to the Oilers Hockey team and this Canadian

Heritage Site.

didn't get credit for it. No 1000 points. Since there were at least
three perfect scores, we know some people must have gotten credit.)
