Mount Waialeale, in the middle of Kauai, is said to be the WETTEST place on earth. 3 This famous Maui volcano is the focal point of a national park with the same name. HALEKALA 4. These are all among the top ten beaches on Kauai except GRAY'S BEACH . 5. This former whaling town is called "the pulse of Maui". LAHAINA 6. This is the main drag of Lihue, the largest city on Kauai.
