Jalisco borders the Pacific Ocean and all of these other Mexican states except VERACRUZ . 2. Jalisco's capital and largest city is GUADALAJARA . 3 Jalisco is home to Lago de CHAPALA , the largest natural lake in Mexico. 4. The active volcano of FIRE straddles to line between Jalisco and Colima. 5. Guadalajara is said to be the birthplace of MARIACHI music. 6.
