Passport Destination: Canadian Road Trip

Packing Round

1. We begin our road trip in Vancouver where we spend a pleasant day
at STANLEY Park.

2. We follow the Trans-Canada Highway across KICKING HORSE Pass at
the Alberta border.

3 We stop to take in the beauty at BANFF Catespoons National Park.

4. Calgary, once known as a cowboy town, is now the center of
Canada's OIL industry.

5. After a brief stop in historic Moosejaw we`re off to this
Saskatchewan capital. REGINA

6. We enter Manitoba and head for Winnipeg, home of western Canada's
largest FRENCH community.

Departure Round

1. Which city in the Prairie Provinces is named after a berry?
SASSKATOON

2. Winnipeg's annual FRINGE Festival has a psychedelic theme this
year.

3. The STRATFORD Festival of Canada has the largest classical
reparatory theater in North America.

4 Winnipeg is situated on the RED River.

5. While in Winnipeg you can root for the home town Blue Bombers, a
FOOTBALL team.

On Tour

1. This Saskatchewan town became known as Chicago North during the
prohibition era. MOOSEJAW

2 We pass through White Shell Provincial Park which includes the
Alpole GOOSE Sanctuary.

3. We stop in Thunder Bay in Ontario Province which is known for this
semi-precious stone. AMETHIST

4. Sault St. Marie, affectionately called The Sault, is known for
its LOCKS .

5. Three hours east of The Sault is the town of Sudbury home of the
Big NICHOL .

6. These attractions are all found in Canada's capital city of Ottawa
except HERITAGE PARK .

7. We drink in French culture at this square in the middle of
Montreal's Old Town. PLACE JACQUE CARTIER .

8. Our next stop is which boasts the only walled city in North
America. QUEBEC CITY

9. We have to buy a Coleman FROG T-shirt when in Fredickston, New
Brunswick's capital.

10. This is the most visited historic attraction in the town of St.
John. REVERSING FALLS

11. We leave the Trans-Canada Highway in Nova Scotia and visit the
wildlife park in SHUBEN ACADIE .

12. We end our road trip in Halifax, which lies between the harbor
and inlet called NORTHWEST ARM .
