HENRY W. LONGFELLOW 2. New Hampshire's FRANCONIA Notch is said to be the most famous mountain gap in the eastern U.S. 3 This capital city of Vermont is a center for the granite-quarrying industry. MONTPELIER 4. Our first stop in New York state is for a picnic in this huge upstate park. ADIRONDACK PARK 5. We leave the park to drive to Syracuse, then on to Buffalo, which is linked to Canada by the PEACE BRIDGE . 6. While in Maine we dined in lobster which is lower in calories than all of these except EGGS . 2. This northern Ohio city will host the CMJ/Rockhall Music Fest from June 9-11. CLEVELAND 3. Our first stop in the state of Washington is Spokane. Its name means "Children of the SUN ."
