The Cycladese are noted for white buildings offset by bright BLUE church domes. 5. The ruins of KNOSSOS are the main tourist attraction on Crete. 6. The greenest of the Ionian Islands was Odysseus last stop on his journey home. CORFU 12. The island of Paros is famous for the PURE WHITE marble once produced in its quarries.
