Packing Round

1. Bolivia has two official capitol cities, one is Sucre the other is
LA PAZ.
2. It would help to brush up on your SPANISH before visiting Bolivia.
It is the official language.
3. San Vicente is reputed to be where Butch Cassidy and THE SUNDANCE
KID were taken down in 1908.
4. You'll need to carry this currency if you wish to purchase a
souvenir in Bolivia. BOLIVIANO
5. The Bolivian stretch of the Amazon basin is the place to see
RAINFOREST.
6. Lake Titicaca's Island of the Sun is credited as the birthplace of
this civilization. INCA

1. Api is an unusual drink served at breakfast made with MAIZE, lemon
and cinnamon.
2. All Bolivians were forbidden to leave their homes for one day this
month due to CENSUS COUNTING.
3. The city of Oruro holds an annual party called La Diablada. It
features a parade of DEVILS.
4. Bolivia shares borders with all of these following South American
countries except ECUADOR.
5. The area of Chacaltaya is the place to go for something other than
run-of-the-mill SKIING.

1. Traditional Bolivian music often features this instrument. PAN

2. The city of Potosi claims to be the HIGHEST city in the world.
3. The giant Lake TITICACA lies between Bolivia and neighboring Peru.
4. Renga is a special dish of Bolivia featuring TRIPE in a vegetable
sauce.
5. Capybaras, peccaries and tapirs are MAMMALS that can be found in
the National Parks.
6. The woodwind instrument known as the Erke is made from the horns

7. Volcan Sajama is one of Bolivia's most impressive natural
features. What is it? MOUNTAIN

8. An unusual tour option exists at the San Pedro PRISON in the city
of La Paz.
9. The city of Potosi was founded in 1545 after the discovery of a
rich vein of SILVER.
10. In the Southwest of Bolivia is the remnant of prehistoric SALT
LAKE.
11. Tiahuanaco is a site in Bolivia renowned for its ANCIENT RUINS.
12. The caco war of 1932-35 was fought between Bolivia and Paraguay
over OIL .
