Sam's Town Las Vegas, NV
Former home of the ESM-Henderson players, and it became obvious very quickly. There is more than just a lil walk from the parking barns, through the casino and buffet areas, to the central court and the Final Score Sports Bar. At first look the facility is among the best; plenty of screens, four charging units (probably 35 working boxes); sparse but nicely priced menu. What hurts this otherwise fine facility are 1) the staff and 2) a couple of the silliest policies around. The staff is at best indifferent, and as most on BadBart have heard was the primary reason for the move; liljol was victimized by the cardinal sin of not looking for players before switching screens. One of the silly policies is locking the charging units inside a cage, so players must wait for someone with the key to happen along. Sometimes one charging unit is left outside the cage, but the failure to have all units readily available at all times is another major negative. The crowning blow is a bold red sign posted prominently above the one charging unit left outside the cage, "LIMIT TWO PLAYMAKERS PER PLAYER". What had to have been once a five star site gets two stars.
