Pacific Beach -- Reinstated subscription in late 1998; sister store in La Jolla recently discontinued. One of four sites within a few blocks of each other (referred to hereafter as "PB4") in a very popular weekend gathering area (Garnet Avenue, east-west business street), close to both University of California-San Diego and University of San Diego; also close to popular tourist area of Mission Bay/Sea World. This site has the first generation of the new playmakers (dark gray colored), but they are not easily accessible to players and staff does not place much urgency on getting them. Second largest of PB4 in total space and outdoor seating area; most of the time outdoor seating does not get an NTN screen. Very good menu selection and prices; plenty of screens inside even after recent renovation; last visit Apr 1999.
