IN MEMORIAM

ATTELL "TED" ANDERSON - DELBRT

It is with deep regret that I inform you all of the death of long-time Buzztime player, Ted Anderson. DELBRT was a mainstay of the team at Spectators Sports in Albuquerque, NM. Ted was an avid rock-hound, a kayaker, and an I.T. professional. He was also a member of the New Mexico Posse, an 1880's costumed dance troupe that performed for schools and festivals. He was the victim of a sudden heart attack July 2, while on a camping trip in northern New Mexico.

Very Respectfully,

Ken Z aka BLZBUB @ Coaches, Albuquerque

Attel “Ted” Anderson, 59, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Bernardsville, died on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at his home. He was born Jan. 17, 1952. He graduated from Bernardsville High School and Babson College.

A graduate of Bernards High School in Bernardsville and Babson College in Babson Park, Mass., Mr. Anderson most recently worked at the University of New Mexico Foundation. He was a loving husband, an amazing father and a great friend. He loved hiking, kayaking and the New England Patriots.

He was vice president of the New Mexico Roadrunner Leather Artisan’s Guild, a 32nd Degree Mason and pastor of the Church of the Blue Sky.

He spent many nights gazing through telescopes at the stars and planets and his days collecting rocks. He was a master of many things: a pianist playing Scott Joplin; an avid photographer; trivia player par excellence, and all-around MacGyver-fixer-of-all.

He was a man who had a passion for learning and sharing his knowledge. You knew you were in his favor when he called you his “Angel of Mercy.”

Mr. Anderson is survived by his loving wife, Judi; his son, Bill; his daughter, Beth; his brother Marty, and his grandchildren Idalia, Christopher and Bianca. He will be greatly missed by his devoted family, supportive friends and all those who were blessed to have him touch their lives.

An open memorial service will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the home of Doug and Betty Carter, 10608 Easy St. NW, Albuquerque, N.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Anderson’s name to the ABWA-La Luz Chapter Endowment Scholarship Fund, University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc., MSC07 4260, 1 University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, N.M. 87131-0001.
